There has been national media attention over Violent Asian Hate Crimes in Oakland's Chinatown district. We've all seen the brutal videos of Asians being forcefully pushed, robbed, assaulted, etc. According to The California Dept. of Justice Office of The Attorney General, from 2019-2020 there was a 107% increase in hate crimes targeting the Asian community. Since then, we've seen a sharp decrease in Asian hate crimes in Oakland, due to the Implementation of more police, as well as a community led Patrol Group known as the ''Blue Angels".

Downtown Oakland has come to be known for it"s booming nightlife. When it comes to amped up bars and clubs, Downtown Oakland is one the most lively places in the entire Bay Area. As attractive as these venues may be, they can be very dangerous

Panoramic Hills -Located on the Oakland/Berkeley border, It's known for It's Beautiful Natural Landscape, unique architecture and extensive trail network.
Crocker Highland- Neighboring Tresle glen, Lakeshore and Glenview, this "Lower Hills District" neighborhood is Conveniently Located near a number of great lively shops and restaurants
Upper Rockridge- With breathtaking views of the SF Bay, and close proximity to lake temescal, it's no surprise this area is known as one of the best neighborhoods to live in California. Upper Rockridge is said to have a Suburban feel In an Urban city.
Montclair- This is Oakland's Most prestigious and affluent neighborhood. Located on the western slope of the Oakland Hills, Montclair is a heavily forested area known for it's winding roads and grand architecture. The area is also known for it's Highly rated public schools.
Piedmont- Though Piedmont is not technically in Oakland, it's a Small City completely surrounded by Oakland. At one point, Piedmont was known as the ''City of Millionaires'', having more millionaires per square mile of any city in the United States. Piedmont is a quaint little city, sprawling with unique local shops and some of the best restaurants in the Bay Area.
